I bought one what seems like decades ago, only to have well over a hundred dollars taken out of my account--and no machine/kit shipped to me. I found the following information on http://www.ucutathome.com/ (click HERE for the exact entry). I recommend paying them a visit--they have a wonderful informative blog. They keep you up to date (as evidenced), sell wonderful products, and have nice educational videos.
"According to the July 8 press release, Lifestyle Crafts (the makers of the Letterpress) has entered into an asset purchase agreement with QuicKutz Inc. to purchase the QuicKutz and Letterpress brands and products...QuicKutz will start back with their monthly product releases and start shipping all the back orders! It may take until fall to get all the back orders back in stock, but eventually they will have all their dies and accessories back in stock.."
This is so good to know, as I have sent several emails to the store I purchased them from with absolutely no replies. Wish I'd known about this store!
Please let me know what experience you have had with L Letterpress Epic 6 & the whole Quickutz brand. I purchased the kit combo because the Epic 6 promised to be very durable, and my Cuttlebug gave up the ghost--something wrong with the rollers. The price of mailing it in for repair makes it not worth doing so.
