Butterflies for a great cause...and everyone can participate

From now through the end of September, the charitable design group The Lime Light will be making butterflies to send to the Houston Holocaust Museum. It is for their children's display that will be put up in the not too distant future. Everyone from can participate.  From your scouting group to your church group to any friends that would like to help out, all butterflies are welcome.

Here are the specifics according to the Museum:
  1. Butterflies should be no larger than 8 inches by 10 inches
  2. Butterflies may be of any medium the artist chooses, but two-dimensional submissions are preferred (not a butterfly drawn on paper, but not a full 3-D pinata either--the end product should be shaped like a flat butterfly)
  3. Glitter and all glitter-related products should not be used; Stickles actually can be used
  4. Food products (cereal, macaroni, candy, marshmallows or other perishables) also should not be used
  5. Please include your name on each butterfly
  6. We will be posting some butterflies on this website in the coming days and weeks so you can get an idea of what the team & others are doing.
Feel free to make as many as you'd like.  Involve your friends, church associates, scouting group...whomever you think might like to help. The address to send them to will be posted shortly. We will be submitting all of the team's & public's butterflies as one, and hope to get some pictures from the event.

Looking for the FREE ZONE (free blog background sites, free font sites...)

That information has been moved to the Imagine That Plus site so that this site will load faster (that one doesn't have as much, and everything is pretty much in posts & not at the bottom of every page so it loads at a pretty good rate).
