So what's the next generation of die cutting? You'll want to take a close look at this one.

According to the company Craftwell, it's the eCraft.

It comes in four colors and includes a 2.8" B&W display, paper tray, paper roller, Image Card Fundamentals 1, two black pens and five blades. MSRP $259 Available in Spring/Summer 2010. (SOON!)

Here are the features: (seriously, get a load of these...)

•Paper Tray and Roller (no more messy cutting mats!)
•Unique design handles paper up to 12" by ANY length
•Draws and cuts without changing from blade to a pen-so you don't have to mess with a blade housing
•No computer required (but great software with additional features available)
•SD Image Cards, with hundreds of designs to choose from (Craftwell says they're affordable!)
•Rechargeable Battery available for unlimited portability. (there's a cord for it too, folks)
(bolding, italics, & red are my doing)
I have to admit, I can't wait to see how this is received by the crafting public.  It really sounds like it's going to be the "all that & more" of the next generation of die cutting!  Let me know what you think.

  1. Oh boy....this sounds fabulous and so easy to use. Will be fun to check out.

  2. Thanks for the info, it will be interesting to see everything it can do. Keep us updated.

  3. Oh my goodness! Interesting.

Love the colors but I'm from Missouri, so I'll have to see it in operation first!

  4. I was HOOKED on the Cricut from seeing the infomercials, and how it worked exactly. I'd like to see a demo of this... It sounds VERY interesting!! I love the colors (especially the purple) and will be interested to see more.

    Thanks for sharing!!!

That information has been moved to the Imagine That Plus site so that this site will load faster (that one doesn't have as much, and everything is pretty much in posts & not at the bottom of every page so it loads at a pretty good rate).
