Another old cut file -- click here; Design Studio Tips and information as well

Because of this business having trouble accessing my blog, I'm afraid I'm going to have to delay the drawing & announcement of the winner. I need to do an actual drawing to make it fair, so please give me another couple of days.

Here is a cut file that I did in times past to keep you occupied until then:

This screen shot is of the whole book--there are six pages, and the last page doesn't have the decorative edging so that it can serve as a backing. They all have "liners", which you can cut out in another color paper and lay over the original page. I'm trying to find some others to post tonight as well.

DESIGN STUDIO TIP: To see clearly what will actually cut, make sure that the page you want to view is the only page that has "include in page preview" checked when you right click. Then, open a blank page. Click VIEW (the eye in the left column). The image shown, which has all of the welded lines cleaned up, is what will cut.

ALSO: I was asked why Cricut Design Studio doesn't keep up with the cartridges that have been released. Here is what Jim Thornton, President of Provo Craft, had to say in a Cricut message board post not too long ago: "CDS/CDS Pro: I hear you loud and clear for the need to have more timely updates. We currently have 20-30 cartridges under development that have, or will be, released in 2009. In order to partner appropriately with our retailers, we typically launch 2-6 carts at a time. The development/programming team is evaluating if we can realistically provide an update with every release. If the answer to that question is no, we will certainly craft (love that word) a plan to still improve the timeliness of our updates. " So, that's why you can't use Jubilee in Design Studio yet!!

Looking for the FREE ZONE (free blog background sites, free font sites...)

That information has been moved to the Imagine That Plus site so that this site will load faster (that one doesn't have as much, and everything is pretty much in posts & not at the bottom of every page so it loads at a pretty good rate).
