For those of us who like inking everything...

This works fantastically to draw out every bit of pigment from your ink pad. It's called "Perfect Ink Refresher" -- it's at most craft stores. Just Google it to find it online as well.

Here's some clarification on exactly what you can use this Ink Refresher for. Per the information on the side of the bottle (I had an awful time with these pics, so I'll give you both the pic & some text to clarify), "Ink Refresher rehydrates without adding more color. Suitable for pigment and dye based ink pads, water based markers, and rainbow pads." There is also specific instruction on the bottle as to how to apply the Ink Refresher (by Ranger) to the various mediums.

  1. You mention using this with pigments. I have been told that this product should never be used with pigments and only with dyes or it will ruin the pad. Has something changed? My bottle itself has a sticker that says "Not for use with pigments".

  2. Donna--

Thanks for bringing this up. What I meant was it will draw the ink out of the inkpad, but it does say on the side of the bottle: "suitable for pigment and dye based inkpads, water based markers and rainbow pads." It's also acid free. Does that clear things up?
