Quilting Diamond Layout -- take two -- click here for cut file

Here's a little different take on the Quilting Diamond Star layout. I cut out silhouettes of the diamonds & put them on top of the regular diamonds. Of course, when you cut out a silhouette you have a "middle" left -- in this case a smaller diamond. I put those on top of the diamonds on the bottom layer. Then I added "pearls", flower petals, and a paper flower in the center with a pearl brad in the middle. Both the flower petals and the diamonds were embossed with Cuttlebug. The paper is K & Co. Blue Awning collection. I put a doily between the star and the actual 12 x 12 piece of paper. Stage by stage, here is the result:

The border for the green & cream paper/layer that is just above the bottom layer (the creamish piece of paper that I scalloped using a Fiskars blade) is in a cut file that can be found by clicking HERE.

That information has been moved to the Imagine That Plus site so that this site will load faster (that one doesn't have as much, and everything is pretty much in posts & not at the bottom of every page so it loads at a pretty good rate).
