Belting your layouts - click here for cut file

This is a technique that is simple but you can make very ornate (you will see the slightly more ornate in the blue/black diamond layout and in posts to come. You're basically cutting out rectangles, etc., and weaving a strip of paper through the negative spaces. Click on the post title for some files that I have recently used.

Another style:

The strip that was woven through the blue diamond layout has a thin strip of the actual blue diamond paper glued to the top of it to give it something extra. It won't take much of the actual layout area away to just slice off the edge in order to do this. The strip itself is black, smooth cardstock although it's difficult to tell in the photos.

Looking for the FREE ZONE (free blog background sites, free font sites...)

That information has been moved to the Imagine That Plus site so that this site will load faster (that one doesn't have as much, and everything is pretty much in posts & not at the bottom of every page so it loads at a pretty good rate).
