I did it! I made my own Cricut markers! (actual blog post!)

I'd be lying if I said this idea was my own, because I read it on one of the Yahoo groups. Use the Sharpies that are meant to go on your key chain, wrap them in some masking tape, and then put them in the area you put the blade housing (or the normal Cricut markers). Sharpie's of this nature average just over $1 each. The Cricut markers can run up to $3 on average per marker. If you can/want to do this, it will definitely save you money and give you more color options. Has anyone else done this?

P.S. the key is to place the marker so that the tip is in the right spot. When you get it right, mark just above the blade housing holder on the tape so that it's easy to place it next time.
